Information and analytics

The site does not ask you to enter personal information or save your route selections in browser storage. Choosing a situation card only changes the page in your browser.

Google Analytics 4 receives page-view information such as the page URL and title, referrer, and technical browser/device details. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and similar identifiers for measurement. Google says it uses IP addresses at collection to determine approximate location and then discards them before logging or storing analytics data. This site does not use Google Analytics advertising features or use analytics data to build advertising profiles. The editor uses aggregated visit information to understand which guides readers use.

Hosting and network information

Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and referral information, to deliver and protect the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for the provider's own practices.

External links

Some pages link to government and university resources. When you open another site, that site's privacy policy applies. This site does not send your selected card or page history to those sources.

Email

If you contact the editor after a public email address is configured, your email provider will handle the message. The editor will use it to review the question or correction and will not add the address to a mailing list. Do not include sensitive personal details.

Analytics choices

This pilot does not currently show an on-page analytics consent banner. Browser settings or privacy tools may limit analytics cookies. Where prior consent is required, the site owner should configure the Google tag to wait until the visitor's choice is recorded. The date at the top shows the latest editorial review.
